How much is shipping?

Shipping will be delivered by standard express post through Australia Post at a flat rate of $10.00 for all orders under $150.00.  All orders over $150.00 will be shipped free of charge.

Should you require registered post or Platinum Express Post please advise your preference when ordering (there may be an additional charge for this service.)

Once the orders have left our premises we do not accept responsibility for lost or stolen parcels. In accordance with this service tracking numbers are available upon request.  We recommend sending regular express post articles to either a post office box or business should your home be unattended during the day.

All orders placed by 3.30pm (AEST) will be processed and once payment has been verified will be shipped within 2 working days. Orders placed on the weekend and public holidays will be processed the next business working day.  Your much awaited order should arrive within 5 working days!

Return and Exchange Policy

Our aim is to keep our customers happy so we will gladly accept returns within seven (7) days of delivery and provide you with a store credit to the value of your original purchase (less postage) or happily exchange the item for another.  The merchandise must be returned to us in its original condition and packaging, not washed, worn or altered in any way and have the original tags and tickets attached.
All jewellery and other accessories are not returnable.


To get the ball rolling please email us at alittlebirdieonjames@hotmail.com If you wish to return an item and let us know the reason for your return or exchange.  We will send you a Returns Authorisation Form which must be completed and returned with your order.  You are able to select on the RA if you would like a store credit or exchange.  If you require an exchange please provide the full item description, brand name, colour and size – if the item you wish to exchange for sells out while we are waiting to receive your return, we will automatically issue you with a store credit.
Our Store Credits are valid for six (6) months from the date of issue.  After the expiration date we reserve the right to deem any unused credit values null and void. Please ensure that the returned goods are received by us within the appropriate time frame either via express post or courier as we reserve the right to refuse any items that are either not returned within the specified time or have not been authorized as a return item.  All return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer except for return of faulty goods.  We do not accept responsibility for return items that are lost or damaged during transit.

Please also advise us by email that the items are on their way and provide us with the registered or express post tracking number.

Faulty Merchandise
We understand that circumstances beyond anyone’s control will sometimes result in faulty merchandise.  If you believe goods are faulty please email us at alittlebirdieonjames@hotmail.com and we will endeavour to repair or replace the items promptly, subject to availability. If repairs or replacement is not possible we will gladly issue you with a full refund.
Please note - goods are not considered faulty if the laundering instructions have not been strictly followed or if the item has been damaged in any way due to negligence on the customer’s behalf.  Items damaged as a result of wear and tear are not considered faulty goods.
A Little Birdie Told Me strives for the best customer service and to sell only the highest quality products and if there is any reason you are unhappy with your items please do not hesitate to contact us.

Unfulfilled Orders

Should in the unlikely event that an item you have purchased has sold out, we will notify you by email promptly.  We will follow up with the designer to seek a replacement item or offer you an alternate product.  If this is not suitable to you we will refund the original payment.
Should you wish to cancel an order, written notice must be received prior to the order being dispatched.  Unfortunately, if the order has already been dispatched we are unable to cancel it and you must then follow the returns procedure outlined above.  You will be offered either an exchange or store credit.
